**Tax Rate Public Hearing and Tax Rate Adoption**
Your attendance is highly valued. We strongly encourage all residents to participate in this meeting to gain insights into the City’s budget, pose inquiries, and contribute to the planning of the upcoming fiscal year.
For your convenience, the proposed budget and meeting agenda are attached.
The proposed tax rate is not greater than the voter-approval tax rate and is less than the rate discussed in the previous budget workshop.
As a result, City of Bayou Vista is not required to hold an election at which voters may accept or reject the proposed tax rate. However, you may express your support for or opposition to the proposed tax rate by contacting the members of the BOARD OF ALDERMEN of City of Bayou Vista at their offices or by attending the public hearing mentioned above.
