Projects for funding with this 2026 Bond Election
Most of the equipment and systems are old and some have exceeded the cost-effective operating life. Under current State policies, existing equipment cannot be replaced unless it is updated to current regulations, which may not be possible in the current configuration. It must be patched and repaired.
MUD is currrently in design phase to relocate the water plant to the area known as the exercise park. This will separate potable water from waste water. After completion of the new water plant, MUD will demolish unused equipment and plan for future upgrading of the waste water plant in its current location.
BOND AUTHORIZATION DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY RAISE YOUR TAXES.
Taxes were NOT raised for the previous bond election.
