Description
Waste Management of Pennsylvania has confirmed that delivery of rented carts (96-gallon garbage and 64-gallon recycling) will begin Monday, December 15, 2025. Please do not use the new carts until Waste Management service officially begins January 1, 2026.
Each delivered cart will include tags with collection reminders and recycling tips, which are also provided below for your reference.
A reminder: Waste Management carts are not required, and residents are not required to use carts at all. However, if you choose to recycle, your recyclables must be placed loose in a sturdy container clearly marked as recycling—they may not be bagged.
Residents should expect to receive their first invoices from Waste Management before the end of the year, likely during the week of December 22, though the exact date is not yet confirmed. Once you receive your invoice and Customer ID number, all customer service questions should be directed to Waste Management.
Pro Waste will retrieve any rented Pro Waste carts at the conclusion of their contract.
