The Agenda meeting will be held the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m in Council Chambers of the Latrobe Municipal Building.
Agenda:
1. Discussion on the introduction of an ordinance for the 2026 Draft Budget of all City funds.
2. Discussion on the introduction of an ordinance for the 2026 Draft Fee Schedule.
3. Discussion on the Westmoreland County Transit Authority local share assessment and agreement for 2025-2026. The agreement calls for our share to match State and Federal funds to provide mass transit for the City of Latrobe at an estimated cost of $1,197
4. Discussion on the Latrobe Industrial Development Authority (LIDA) request to pass a Resolution in relation to a new bond financing project for Seton Hill University. The project is expected to involve about 35 million dollars in bond financing to allow the University to construct a new athletic center on campus and to renovate some older buildings on campus, including Sullivan Hall. Representatives will attend the meeting on December 8 to answer any questions on the project.
5. Discussion of the installation of a handicapped sign at 1907 Sloan Avenue for a parking space as requested by applicant Joanne Vantine.
6. Discussion on the 2024 Audit. The draft audit report is planned for completion and review by December 1 with a presentation by Opst at the December 8 Council meeting.
