City of Latrobe Council Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.
Agenda:
* Motion to accept resignation of Councilman William "Bill" Yuhaniak
* Motion to advertise to fill vacancy of City Council Position
* Motion to accept resignation of T. Pisula effective June 13, 2025
* Motion to advertise the Financial Director's position
* Motion to hire for the Grants, Admin Clerical position
* Motion to approve the terms of the proposed load to purchase two sanitation vehicles and prepare appropriate ordinance
* Motion to approve employment contract for Director of Public Works, Scott Wajdic
* Resolution for the City to enter a contract with DBB for a 60 month lease of $132.77 for a new copy machine.
* Motion to approve employment contract with Chief of Police Richard Bosco.
* Resolution for the City to remove T. Pisula, T. Carcella and K. Meholic from all First Commonwealth Banking accounts and to add Richard Bosco and new Finance Director for online banking and credit card accounts at First Commonwealth Bank.
* Resolution to hold harmless agreement with Lehigh Steel for the Fourth of July Celebration Fireworks display.
* Motion to accept donation of $15,000 for deposit into the City of Latrobe's Police Department donation account to be used for the purchase of a utility vehicle to augment the police department's services and drone program
* Motion to purchase a side-by-side vehicle from a Costars certified dealer or to issue request for proposals for same vehicle if a costars dealer is unavailable.
* Motion to approve Collective Bargaining Agreement with AFSME Local 83
* Motion to approve the City Agreement with Ken Jones/John Hancock to administer the 457B plan for all city employees.
