-The Sewer Department will be cleaning out the sewer main in the Shirn Sewer Area. This work will start on Tuesday, September 15th and go until completed. As each section of sewer main is cleaned, the Township Office will maintain a list of roads completed. Please follow instructions/recommendations that you received in your notification letter.
Also, please do not flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. We have had a number of clogs occurring due to wipes being flushed. Even if the container says "flushable" they are not. They create clogs and cause damage to our sewer system.
-Lycoming Creek Bike Trail milling and paving work is expected to begin on September 14th. As the contractor works on a section they will be milling and paving that section the same day. Please beware of construction activity and avoid these areas as they are working.
-Paving will occur on Wedgewood Knoll and Cottage Ave (from Sholder Ave to Halls Ln). The contractor expects to start construction on these roads beginning on September 28th.
Please slow down and watch out for these construction areas.
