Details
Bulk Trash Town Pickup: Occurs the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Tickets must be picked up and purchased from Town Hall the day before the scheduled pickup date. Each Item requires a separate ticket.
FEE PER ITEM: $30 for large waste items such as furniture, appliances, and mattresses.
$10 for smaller waste items – If unsure whether what fees apply, contact Town Hall.
Items NOT Accepted: Hazardous materials, chemicals, paint cans/aerosol, medical or radioactive waste, asbestos, explosives, tires, vehicles or auto parts, animal carcasses, construction debris, concrete, farm equipment, ash, sewer waste, and corrugated cardboard. PLEASE NOTE: Corrugated cardboard should be taken to a recycling bin.
Prepare Items Properly: Bundle/roll carpet. All items should be placed on the curb before 7am the day of pickup…PUBLIC WORKS STAFF WILL NOT GO ONTO PRIVATE PROPERTY.
Curbside Brush Collection: A free service through the town of Federalsburg that occurs the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Brush must be bundled, with limbs no more than 4 feet long and 3 inches in diameter. No stumps accepted and leaves must be bagged.
