Join the City of Hutchins for a special Black History Celebration, “Rhythms & Roots,” on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Hutchins Event Center.
Doors open at 4:45 PM and the celebration begins at 5:00 PM. Enjoy an evening filled with music, an art gallery, Black history games, and a Black literature showcase. Special guests include Coach C. Fowler and the Wilmer Hutchins High School Bluebelles Drill Team.
This is a free event and all are welcome. Community members are invited to wear Black History Month or African attire if they would like.
Come celebrate the culture, history, and voices that continue to shape our community.
