Description
The Borough will have contractors replacing the two catch basins on the near end (closest to the entrance way) of Carriage Circle starting Monday November 2nd. and finishing hopefully by Wednesday evening (as always, weather permitting).
The catch basins are located on the hill, coming down from Pennsbury Blvd. They are located in front of Buildings #33 & #34. The closure will start near 764 Carriage Circle and go to the top of the hill at Pennsbury Blvd. The closed area will include the cal-de-sac parking area.
Because the catch basins are located in the middle of the road, there will be a periods of time that we must close Carriage Circle to travel in this area. When closed, traffic that would normally access Carriage Circle from Pennsbury Blvd. will have to go around to the far end of Carriage Circle (pasted the commercial area and down the steep hill). To exit the Village from Carriage Circle, please travel clockwise around Carriage Circle.
Carriage Circle will reopen with one lane of travel, thru the parking spaces, when work is not being done.
Hopefully, (meaning we don’t discover any other problems) traffic will return to normal by Wednesday evening.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this is going to cause but we need to get this done before it becomes a safety issue.
