Description
Flood Advisory issued September 30 at 11:04PM CDT until October 1 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southeastern Fisher County in west central Texas...
Southern Jones County in west central Texas...
Northeastern Nolan County in west central Texas...
Taylor County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1102 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of
rain have fallen. As storms move into the Abilene area, expect
between 0.25 and 1 inch of rainfall, which may result in flooding
of low-lying areas and roadways.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Abilene, Merkel, Tye, Tuscola, Hawley, Buffalo Gap, Trent, Dyess
Afb, View, Caps, Coronados Camp, Noodle, Potosi, Hamby, Happy
Valley, Impact, Stith, Hodges, Lake Abilene and Camp Tonkawa.
- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 256 and 292.

Intersections along Buttonwillow Parkway, Butternut Underpass,
Intersections along Sammons Street, Texas Avenue at Arnold
Boulevard, Curry Lane from Clack Street to Catclaw Drive, FM 3308
crossing Draw, FM 89 crossing Elm Creek, US 84 frontage Road
crossing Little Elm Creek, FM 89 crossing Elm Creek and Antilley
Rd. crossing Button Willow Creek.
