Description
A reminder for all residents that the last day to pay school and per capita taxes at the discount is Wednesday, September 30th.
Payment must be received or postmarked by September 30th to receive the discount rate. If you are mailing your taxes, please take them to the post office and request a hand-stamped postmark. Due to the way mail is processed, placing them in a mailbox does not ensure that the postmark will be stamped with the correct date. Tax laws require the postmark to be used as the proof of payment date.

Wednesday: 6pm-8pm
No appointment is needed during these hours.

There is also a drop box that is checked daily at the tax office.
Please double check your taxes before mailing. The common errors that we see are incorrect amounts, checks not signed, written and numeric amounts on the checks do not match, etc. We also recommend including your phone number on your check in case there are any questions. Incorrect checks will be returned to customers for correction and may result in payment being due at the face amount.
