Special Weather Statement issued September 9 at 7:26PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
At 726 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Cross City, moving west at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Steinhatchee, Cross City, Horseshoe Point, Horseshoe Beach, Tennille,
Shamrock, Howell Place, Clara, Shired Island, Carbur, Jena, Hines,
Jonesboro, and Salem.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
