The City of Bayou Vista would like to inform residents that the City has officially closed on the purchase of 926 Bonita.
This property has been purchased with the future goal of becoming the new home of Bayou Vista City Hall and the Bayou Vista Police Department.
We understand that many residents had questions, concerns, or were opposed to the purchase. The City respects that residents may have different opinions regarding decisions that affect our community. We also believe it is important that residents are kept informed as we move forward.
The purchase is now complete, and the City will begin the process of determining the best way to develop and utilize the property for City Hall and our Police Department.
This is an investment in the future of Bayou Vista, and we look forward to keeping our residents informed as plans develop.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to participate, ask questions, attend meetings, and stay engaged in the future of our city.
