The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Apalachee Bay or Coastal Waters From Keaton Beach to Ochlockonee
River Fl out to 20 Nm...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
* Until 300 AM EDT.
* At 1201 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 18 nm northeast of St. Marks to 49 nm northeast of
Buckeye Reef, moving south at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Locations impacted include...
Marker 24 Barge and Horseshoe Beach.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
