Harborcreek Township is looking to add to our Crew.
We are in need of an individual in our Roads Department with some familiarity in operating equipment including mini excavator, skid steer, and back hoe. Commercial Driver's License is preferred for this position but Harborcreek Township may assist the right candidate in obtaining their CDL license through a training program. This full-time position will include summer roadwork and winter snowplowing.
Harborcreek Township also has an open position for a full-time experienced heavy equipment mechanic with tools - to maintain the Township fleet of equipment. This position requires a minimum of a Class B CDL License and Class 7 PA Inspection License. Diesel engine repair, electrical trouble shooting, and hydraulic systems repair knowledge are required. Welding experience and OBDII system diagnostic training is a plus. Snowplowing will be required during Winter months.
Both positions require a candidate who is a team player and has the ability to work well with others as well as independently.
