Flood Warning issued September 3 at 7:20AM EDT until September 3 at 11:30AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Erie County in northwestern Pennsylvania...
* WHEN...Until 1130 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain
closed due to flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 718 AM EDT, Thunderstorms produced heavy rain overnight,
resulting in flooding across Erie County. Between 2 and 4 inches
of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Erie, Corry, North East, Union City, Girard, Waterford,
Wattsburg, Northwest Harborcreek, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park,
Wesleyville, Lake City, Platea, McKean, Elgin, Northwest Harborcr
and Avonia.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
