Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 2 at 10:43PM EDT until September 2 at 11:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 1043 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Lakewood to near Lottsville to Edinboro, moving
east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Corry, Edinboro, North East, Union City, Waterford, Wattsburg,
Northwest Harborcreek, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park, Wesleyville, Mill
Village, McKean, Elgin, Northwest Harborcr, and Avonia.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
