The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 645 PM EDT.
* At 519 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 nm northwest of Suwannee River to 22 nm southwest
of Cedar Key, moving west at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Beach.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
