Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 2 at 12:26PM EDT until September 2 at 12:45PM EDT by NWS State College PA
At 1225 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Newmanstown to Akron to Millersville, moving southeast
at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe storms will be near...
Willow Street, Millersville, and Lancaster around 1230 PM EDT.
Churchtown, Gap, and Quarryville around 1240 PM EDT.
Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Buck,
East Prospect, Bowmansville, Peach Bottom, and Reinholds.
This includes The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 265 to 295.
Stay inside a well built structure and keep away from windows.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
