Dear Hutchins Community,
Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in the City of Hutchins Mascot & Slogan Contest. We sincerely appreciate the residents, students, business owners, families, and community members who shared their creativity and helped support this effort to shape the identity of our city.
The contest received a response rate of 0.023866, or approximately 2.39%, representing fewer than five entries. While the submissions included several thoughtful and promising concepts, they did not fully meet the complete challenge requirements, which called for both an original mascot and a slogan that met the published criteria.
After careful consideration, the city will not adopt an official mascot or slogan at this time. We hope to revisit this opportunity later when there is broader participation and a submission that fully meets the challenge.
To everyone who submitted an entry, thank you for your time, imagination, and civic spirit. Your willingness to contribute ideas for the future of Hutchins is deeply appreciated. Please be looking for a thank-you note in the mail.
