Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued September 2 at 7:10AM EDT until September 2 at 7:30AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 709 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Northwest
Harborcreek, or 9 miles southeast of Erie, moving southeast at 35
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Expect damage to
trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Erie, Conneaut, North East, Girard, Northwest Harborcreek,
Harborcreek, Lawrence Park, Wesleyville, Lake City, Platea, McKean,
Northwest Harborcr, and Avonia.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
