Description
City of Hutchins, Texas, is providing its proposed Water Conservation Plan for public review and comment in accordance with applicable requirements of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
The Water Conservation Plan establishes water conservation goals, strategies, and measures to promote efficient water use and support the long-term management of the City’s water resources.
The proposed Water Conservation Plan will be available for a two-week public comment period from August 28, 2026, through September 11, 2026.
Members of the public are encouraged to review the proposed plan and submit comments to the City during the public comment period. Public comments may be delivered to the City Secretary’s Office at 400 N. J.J. Lemmon Road, Hutchins, TX 75141, or submitted by email to the City Engineer through the City’s website portal.

August 28, 2026 – September 11, 2026
Copies of the proposed Water Conservation Plan are available for public review on the City of Hutchins website and in the Savvy Citizen app.
