Drainage Survey Begins in September. Note: This was voted and approved by Galveston County at no cost to Bayou Vista.
Bayou Vista residents, please be aware that a drainage survey will begin in September. Survey crews will be in the neighborhood on the following dates:
📅 **Wednesday, September 2**
**Preliminary Site Visit**
Two engineers will be in the area and will remain in the public right-of-way and streets. They will be driving through the neighborhood to observe the site.
📅 **Wednesday, September 9**
**Day 1 – Data Collection**
Three engineers wearing safety vests will be walking the area to collect drainage information. They may need to step off the public roadway to locate drainage features, but they will not cross fences or enter private property where access is blocked.
📅 **Thursday, September 10**
**Day 2 – Data Collection**
The survey team will continue collecting drainage information throughout the area.
📅 **Monday, September 14**
**Day 3 – Data Collection**
The team will complete additional field work and data collection.
