Extreme Heat Warning issued August 24 at 5:32AM CDT until August 24 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX
* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with temperatures of 109 to 112
expected.
* WHERE...The Big Country area in west-central Texas.
* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM CDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
