Special Marine Warning issued August 23 at 3:19AM EDT until August 23 at 5:15AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

SMWTAE

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...

* Until 515 AM EDT.

* At 319 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Suwannee
River, moving southeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
sure all on board are wearing life jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Beach and Suwannee River.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
