GALVESTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT
Seeks Applicants for the Appraisal Review Board For 2027-2028
Applicants must have resided in the district for two years.

Deadline to submit the application is December 1st, 2026.
All Applicants will be contacted once an interview date is set.
Appointment is contingent upon a satisfactory background investigation/interview conducted by the GCAD Board of Directors.
The Texas Property Tax Code mandates that no former member of the board of directors, former officer or former employee of the appraisal district serves as a member of the governing body or officer of a taxing unit for which the appraisal district appraises property, until the fourth anniversary of the date the person ceased to be a member or office.
