Heat Advisory issued August 14 at 12:38PM EDT until August 15 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT...For the first Heat Advisory today, heat index values up to
110. For the second Heat Advisory on Saturday, heat index values up
to 111 expected.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend and Panhandle
Florida, and south central and southwest Georgia.
* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this
evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 11 AM EDT /10 AM CDT/
to 7 PM EDT /6 PM CDT/ Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
