Heat Advisory issued August 12 at 8:04PM CDT until August 13 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX
* WHAT...Temperatures and/or heat index values of up to 105 expected.
* WHERE...Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Shackelford, and Throckmorton
Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
A Heat Advisory means that hot weather conditions are occurring or
expected. This will create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Never, ever, leave children or pets alone in enclosed vehicles, not
even for a few minutes. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures
in a matter of minutes.
