Special Weather Statement issued August 12 at 6:28PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 628 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles west of Bell to 21 miles south of
Perry. Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cross City, Steinhatchee, Horseshoe Point, Suwannee, Horseshoe Beach,
Tennille, Shamrock, Jug Island, Clara, Shired Island, Cross City
Airport, Old Town, Dekle Beach, Jonesboro, Jack Lee Island, Cedar
Island, Fish Creek, Howell Place, Jena, and Hines.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
