During the annual Court of Valor and Safekeepers Shrine Ceremony at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Officer John A. Peters will be honored. In addition to recognizing the three Northern Regional Police officers line of duty deaths, Spring Garden Township's first police officer, John A. Peters, will also be honored during the ceremony. His name will be permanently engraved on the Safekeepers Shrine.
