Description
The Plymouth Township Road Department is currently performing upgrades to West Morgan Road. Improvements include increasing the setback of the ditches, adding subsoil drainage, and increasing the road base. The work will enhance drainage and help prevent sinkholes, potholes, and soft spots from developing.

The project cost of $200,000 is being covered by a 50/50 split between the township and the Ohio Public Works Commission. To further reduce out of pocket costs for the township, the road department will be performing a large percentage of in-kind work. This method reduces costs to the taxpayers by avoiding the hiring of outside contractors to perform work.

Please use alternate routes when possible, and keep speed to a minimum as workers and equipment will be in the roadway during normal working hours.

The project is expected to be completed in the late Fall or early Winter.
