Marine Weather Statement issued August 2 at 10:20PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1020 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from 6 nm northeast of Suwannee River
to 29 nm west of Cedar Key to 21 nm south of V Tower, moving
northeast at 15 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
