Special Weather Statement issued August 2 at 6:02PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 602 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Mcalpin to 16 miles southwest of Horseshoe
Point. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Mayo, Cross City, Horseshoe Point, Suwannee, Horseshoe Beach,
Tennille, Shamrock, Clara, Shired Island, Cross City Airport, Old
Town, Buckville, Jonesboro, Hatch Bend, Salem, San Pedro Junction,
Cooks Hammock, Smith, Guaranto Springs, and Carbur.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
