Description
Flood Advisory issued August 1 at 10:21AM EDT until August 1 at 1:30PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Big Bend Florida, including the following
county, Dixie.

* WHEN...Until 130 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1019 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen over the last several hours. Ongoing storms with
2 to 3 inch per hour rainfall rates could continue over the
warned area for the next hour or two.

Horseshoe Point, Horseshoe Beach and Shired Island.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Report flooding to local law enforcement.
