Special Marine Warning issued July 31 at 12:38PM EDT until July 31 at 1:15PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...

At 1238 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 13 nm north of Suwannee
River to 27 nm southwest of Cedar Key, moving southeast at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
on board are in a secure location and wearing life jackets.
Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.

Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Beach and Suwannee River.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
