Flood Watch issued July 28 at 2:17AM EDT until July 29 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Delaware, including the following
area, New Castle, New Jersey, including the following areas,
Camden, Coastal Ocean, Eastern Monmouth, Gloucester, Mercer,
Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Southeastern Burlington and
Western Monmouth, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas,
Berks, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks,
Philadelphia, Upper Bucks, Western Chester and Western Montgomery.
* WHEN...From 8 AM EDT this morning through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move through today
into tonight. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are
possible. Rainfall amount of 1 to 3 inches are expected with
locally higher amounts possible.
