**TROPICAL STORM WATCH IN EFFECT**
Bayou Vista is currently under a **Tropical Storm Watch**.
A Tropical Storm Watch means that tropical storm conditions are **possible** within the next 48 hours. **It does not mean they are expected or certain to occur.**
At this time, the City of Galveston, in coordination with the National Weather Service, advises that **significant impacts are not currently expected** from Tropical Storm Bertha.
We will continue to monitor the forecast.
This is simply a good reminder to:
• Charge your phones and electronic devices.
• Take a few minutes to review your emergency plans.
• Keep an eye on the forecast in case conditions change.
