Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Red Air Quality Alert for today across the greater Pittsburgh region, including Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Washington, Westmoreland, and Fayette counties.
A Code Red means air pollution levels are unhealthy for everyone. Limit outdoor exercise and other strenuous activities, especially during the afternoon.
If you have asthma, heart disease, or other respiratory conditions, consider staying indoors as much as possible and follow your healthcare provider's recommendations.
