The Highspire Municipal Building at 640 Eshelman Street, Highspire, is open as an Emergency Cooling Center from 8am to 4pm today. Any residents who are without power and need a place to get cool, hydrate, take a shower, charge phones or rest away from the heat are welcome to stop by. The American Red Cross has provided snacks and beverages.
