Flood Advisory issued July 5 at 7:16PM CDT until July 5 at 9:15PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northern Callahan County in west central Texas...
Southeastern Fisher County in west central Texas...
Jones County in west central Texas...
Northeastern Nolan County in west central Texas...
Shackelford County in west central Texas...
Northern Taylor County in west central Texas...
* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 715 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Abilene, Sweetwater, Clyde, Anson, Albany, Baird, Merkel, Tye,
Roby, Hawley, Lueders, Trent, Moran, Nugent, Hamby, Dyess Afb,
Noodle, Neinda, Mccaulley and Sylvester.
- This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 242 and 310.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
