Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 4 at 9:34PM EDT until July 4 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 933 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Princeton, or 8
miles northeast of Trenton, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. Strong to damaging winds may occur ahead
of any rain associated with a gust front.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Philadelphia, Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Somerville, Sandy
Hook, Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, Bensalem, East
Brunswick, Bridgewater, South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick,
Marlboro, Manalapan, Ewing, and Carteret.
People at the New Hope America 250 Celebration, Southampton Days, and
St. Michaels Fair should seek safe shelter immediately!

New Jersey Turnpike between exits 6 and 12.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 348 and 359.
Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 31 and 40.
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 35 and 43.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 13.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 53 and 76.
Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 20.
Garden State Parkway between mile markers 110 and 133.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move
indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers.
Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.
