Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 3 at 7:59PM EDT until July 3 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 757 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Bridgewater to Flemington to near Gardenville to
near Lansdale, moving southeast at 55 mph. The most intense storm is
moving across Hunterdon County which will then move into Somerset
and Mercer counties.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. Strong winds may occur well ahead of any
rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Trenton, New Brunswick, Somerville, Somerset, Bridgewater, Ewing,
Middlesex, Princeton, Bound Brook, Manville, Doylestown, Byram,
Flemington, Chalfont, Tinicum, Clinton, Pennington, New Hope,
Yardley, and Newtown.

shelter immediately!
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 16 and 35.
Interstate 195 in New Jersey near mile marker 0.
Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 61 and 76.
Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 23.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
