Description
Due to severe drought conditions and an elevated risk of fire, an Emergency Proclamation has been issued by Mayor Von Hess banning any and all fireworks and open burning within the Borough of Highspire. The ban is effective July 3, 2026, at 11:00am and will continue until drought conditions decrease. The ban does not prohibit above ground covered charcoal or gas grills used for the preparation of food.
