Description
By order of Hummelstown Borough, on the recommendation of the Fire Chief, a ban on burning is effective immediately for the entire Borough of Hummelstown for thirty (30) days and will be re-evaluated at that time.

Any violation of the burn ban will be subject to a penalty and may also be responsible for all costs incurred by the Municipality and the Fire Department.

What's Prohibited:
•Open Burning (bonfires, fire pits, burn barrels)
• Recreational Fires
•Outdoor Burning Activities
•Consumer Fireworks - even on the Fourth of July

Whats Permitted
•Grill/Smokers used for cooking
