Description
The National Weather Service Pittsburgh is forecasting dangerous heat and humidity on Thursday, July 2, with temperatures climbing into the 90s and heat index values expected to exceed 100°.
To help keep our community safe, the Lincoln Borough Municipal Building will be open as a cooling center from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If you need a break from the heat, stop in, cool down, and stay safe.
Please remember to: 💧 Drink plenty of water.
🌳 Limit outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day. 👵 Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and those without air conditioning. 🐾 Make sure pets have access to shade and fresh water, and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
