According to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh, temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 90s through Friday, making this a dangerous stretch of extreme heat.
Please remember to:
💧 Drink plenty of water.
🏠 Stay in air-conditioned areas whenever possible.
☀️ Limit outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day.
👵 Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.
🏛️ Need a place to cool off? The Lincoln Borough Municipal Building is open as a Cooling Center during normal business hours, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
