Special Weather Statement issued June 30 at 1:29PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 129 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fowlers Bluff, or 13 miles west of Chiefland. The strong thunderstorm
is nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Point, Suwannee, Horseshoe Beach, Yellow Jacket, and Shired
Island.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
