Description
According to the National Weather Service Pittsburgh, multiple consecutive days of dangerous heat are expected this week, with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 90s. The hottest conditions are forecast from Tuesday, June 30, through Friday, July 3.

Prolonged periods of high temperatures can increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, especially for older adults, young children, individuals with chronic medical conditions, and those who work or spend extended time outdoors.

☀️ Please take precautions to stay safe:
💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
🏠 Limit outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day.
❄️ Spend time in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
👵 Check on elderly family members, neighbors, and anyone who may need assistance.
🚗 Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle, even for a short time.

🏛️ Lincoln Borough Cooling Center
To help residents stay safe during this period of extreme heat, the Lincoln Borough Municipal Building will be open as a Cooling Center during normal business hours (9am -3pm). If you need a cool place to escape the heat, we encourage you to stop by and take advantage of the air-conditioned facility.
