Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 11 at 9:04PM EDT until June 11 at 9:45PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ
At 904 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Kunkletown to near Bethlehem to near Zionsville
to near Gilbertsville, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem, Forks, Emmaus, Northampton, Quakertown,
Perkasie, Doylestown, Byram, Wilson, Souderton, Bedminster,
Hellertown, Nazareth, Bangor, Chalfont, Tinicum, Pen Argyl, and
Hatfield.
This includes the following highways...
Northeast Extension between mile markers 32 and 53.
Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 57 and 76.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
This severe thunderstorm may contain little or no lightning. Do not
wait until you hear thunder before taking cover.
