York County Comprehensive Plan Amendment Public Meeting

Description
The York County Planning Commission (YCPC) has completed amendments to the York County Comprehensive Plan which include full updates of the Open Space and Trails Plan and Go York 2050 (transportation component) and partial updates to the Economic Action Plan and the Growth Management Plan Map 20. The YCPC will be accepting comments on these amendments for 45 days from June 5, 2026, through close of business July 20, 2026. Beginning June 5, 2026, the updated materials will be available for review online at https://ycpc.org/195/Public-Participation and paper copies will be available for review at the YCPC office (see address above) during regular business hours. Comments can be submitted via email to Roy Livergood at rlivergood@ycpc.org or in writing to the address above.
During the review period, we will also be hosting a public meeting on June 16, 2026. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an overview of the draft amendments and receive comments. All residents, stakeholders, and municipal officials are encouraged to attend. Meeting details are as follows:
Date: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
Beginning Times: 1:00 PM
Location: The meeting will be held virtually, but there will also be a physical location for attendees to participate in the meeting via video conferencing in the main conference room at the York County Planning Commission Offices (see address above)
